1, SHINee

SHINee is one of the most famous Korean boy bands consisting of 5 members including Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho and Taemin. They are under the supervision of SM entertainment. Since their debut in 2008, SHINee has released nine full-length albums as all of their songs gained tremendous support from the fans all over the world. The most well-known songs they have are Replay, Lucifer and many more. Moreover, they have also made the Japanese album versions of their songs. Super Junior used to be the largest Korean KPOP boy groups which originally has the total members of 12 during their first debut. However, since they target different music industries and audiences, over the years this KPOP boy group has divided into the smaller ones. Their first huge triumph in music industry is their song of Sorry Sorry which was very successful. This KPOP boy group has won many big awards including Mnet Asian Music Awards which is the number 1 award in Asia. EXO is the newly emerged KPOP boy groups which is also one of the most popular bands in every girl’s heart. This KPOP boy group is also formed by SM Entertainment. They have totally 12 members divided into two sub-groups as EXO-K and EXO-M. They made their first debut in 2012 and is the second largest boy group in Korea after Super Junior. Their first ever album namely XOXO (2013) which contains the song Growl gained much support from the fans. They have already made a lot of music tours and also won many awards including Golden Disk Awards and Album of the Year at 15th Mnet Asian Music Awards.

When you hear the recently famous KPOP song BANG BANG, there is no doubt that who are the owner of this song. They are Big Bang KPOP boy group. They are from YG Entertainment. Big Band is famous for their unique style in clothing and dancing that rock the stage out. Big Bang consists of 5 members including G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri. They made their first official debut in 2006. Their big breakthrough was the release of Always album with the song “Lies”. Now let’s meet the hottest KPOP boy group who are known as the beast, 2PM. They are managed by JYP entertainment. The current members of the group are Jun. K or Junsu, Nickhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho, and Chansung. J-Park who is the famous KPOP star used to be in this group as well. They made their first debut with the song “Ten points out of ten points”. However, the hit song they produced was “Again and Again”. So far in their journey they have already produced 5 albums already. They were also awarded the Mnet Asian Music Awards with Best Male group and Artist of the Year.

Cube Entertainment introduced their KPOP boy groups known as B2ST or Beast in 2009. There are 5 members in the group such as: Yoon Doo-joon, Yong Jun-hyung, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon. However, Hyun-seung officially departed from the group in 2016. This KPOP boy group released its first debut in 2009. So far they have made 2 albums. The main trophies they have won are Seoul Music Awards and Melon Music Awards and etc.

Another KPOP boy group we would like to introduce now is Infinite. They are formed in 2010 under Woollim Entertainment. In this group, there are 6 members such as Sungkyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong. They have made 2 albums so far which its first mini-album was the huge hit and was rewarded the best-selling album in 2013. They also received their first place award at M! Countdown in 2011. Moreover, they also made the continuous success later on.

BTS is a one of Korean boy groups consisting of 7 members formed by Big Hit Entertainment. They are known as Bangtan Boys as well. This group united by attractive and talented idols such as Rap Monter (Leader and Rapper), Jin (Vocalist), Suga (Lead Rapper), J-Hope (Lead Rapper and Dancer), Jimin (Lead Vocalist and Main Dancer), V (Vocalist), and Jung Kook (Main Vocalist, Rapper, Dancer and the youngest of the group). The first debut stage was on June 13, 2013 with the song “No More Dream” from their first album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. Moreover, they won several “New Artist of the Year” awards such as the awards at 2013 Melon Music Awards and Golden Disk Awards, and 2014 Seoul Music Awards.

BAP is a boy band group who debuted in 2011 under TS Entertainment. BAP stands for “Best. Absolute. Perfect”. This group includes Yongguk (Leader and Main Rapper), Himchan (Sub-vocalist, Rapper, and Face of the group), Daehyun (Main Vocalist), Youngjae (Lead Vocalist), Jongup (Sub-vocalist and Main Dancer), and Zelo( Lead Rapper, Lead Dancer and the youngest of the group). Their first debuted song is Warrior. In 2012, they won Mnet PD’s Choice Award at Mnet Asian Music Awards as well.

9.BAP

10, DBSK

DBSK is a South Korean boy group consisting of U-Know (Yunho) and Max (Changmin). DBSK is also known as TVXQ in Chinese. They are working under SM Entertainment. They actually debuted in 2003 with 5 members; however, three of them have left the group and the remaining members continue their journey with the song “Keep Your Head Down” in 2011. Within this song, they won “Artist of the Year (Album) Award” from Gaon Chart K-pop Awards in 2012 as well.
